    It would be great if the webconsole allow us to modify some component / SU specific parameters. For instance, some component have custom pools. It would be great if we can configure them at runtime

The parameter 'properties-file' appear as component attribute during component installation, in Webconsole.
This installation attribute refers to the one that Christophe spoke, but the component which you install must
have the following CKD parameter line in its jbi.xml in order to be setted:

<petalsCDK:properties-file />

IMO, a service assembly has not to be configured at deployment (see JBI specifications). That's why a hash map of properties has been added to the component level and used by the SUs/SAs.

But the parameter 'properties-file' should appear on the webconsole page as component attribute.

You don't know all petals webconsole functionalities just ... look screen shot for component runtime attributes, it's already done.

And for service assembly, I need before petals esb side implementation and mostly functionality validation ...
