    The studio should have a form editor to edit POM files.
    This editor should have a source view, synchronized with the form page.
    The goal of such an editor would be to ease the edition of fields.

    Maybe we could reuse an existing POM editor.

XML schemas for POM are embedded and allow one to use content assistance when editing POM files with the Eclipse XML editor.
There is no need of such an editor. Besides, existing editors, such as M2Eclipse's one are tied with several other plugins, which make them not reusable.
