    Using Petals CLI in command line mode, no default connection is available:

    > petals-cli.sh -c -- stop
    ERROR on command 'stop': org.ow2.petals.admin.api.exception.ContainerAdministrationException: org.ow2.petals.jmx.exception.ConnectionErrorException: no current connection to a remote Petals ESB

    According to the documentation, the connection should be established with the values defined in the preferences file.
